Mujawara (which comes from the Arabic word for neighbouring) is an initiative of The Peoples Want network. It’s a transnational mutual-aid project linking physical places across the world so they can strengthen, sustain, and empower each other from a revolutionary and autonomous perspective
Our month of weaving revolutionary neighbouring across borders is now under way! So far there have been more than 85 events announced in more than 70 cities around the world, spanning five continents. To help track and visualize this growing internationalist network, we have created an interactive global map.
Join us for a month of internationalist organising throughout the month of June! This is a global call to all local places and collectives for gatherings, actions, communal banquets, celebrations, fundraisers, marches and rituals in honour of those who have fallen.
The goal is to build new internationalist connections and mutualise our resources to support the creation of new shared spaces by Syrian and Sudanese revolutionaries.
