The Peoples Want is a network comprised of collectives, organisations, places and individuals from across the world working together to build an internationalist practice suited to our times. We share a committment to internationalism from below, focusing on people and movements rather than states. An internationalism that promotes solidarity and mutual aid between those in struggle, at times of crisis or uprising.
Manifesto
The Peoples Want manifesto brings together the lessons and analyses that we have drawn from the last two decades of struggle and from our exchanges at the four previous internationalist gatherings we've organised. It sets out our vision for a revolutionary internationalism for the 21st century. It looks at both successes and challenges faced by insurgents in various contexts. It sets out our shared understanding of the current situation and our initial working hypotheses to strengthen our collective work for the future.

Festival
Our next festival will take place in Marseille on 26th and 27th October 2024
We will be joined by some sixty guests from over 40 countries to share their experience on a wide range of topics: the construction of political organizations in exile from Uganda to Berlin; imperialisms and liberation struggles in Kanaky, Taiwan, Palestine and Georgia; the repositioning of queer and feminist struggles in the face of threats to instrumentalization, from Abya Yala to Africa; resistance to fascist offensives everywhere and the coherence of a revolutionary movement both already here and yet to be built.
The program includes discussions, exhibitions, concerts, workshops and radio debates.
